Custom Domains

Point your own domain at your Pagemark site. We handle SSL automatically.

Note: Custom domains require at least one paid site ($3/mo).

Setup

1. Add your domain

In the dashboard, go to your site → Domain tab → enter your domain (e.g. docs.example.com).

2. Configure DNS

Add two DNS records at your domain registrar:

CNAME Record:

docs.example.com → proxy.getpagemark.com

TXT Record (for verification):

_pagemark.docs.example.com → pagemark-verify=abc123...

The exact TXT value is shown in your dashboard after adding the domain.

3. Verify

Click Verify Domain in the dashboard. We check for the TXT record. Once verified, SSL is provisioned automatically via Let's Encrypt.

Troubleshooting

DNS not propagating

DNS changes can take up to 48 hours, but usually complete within minutes. Use dnschecker.org to verify your records are visible.

SSL not working

SSL certificates are issued automatically after domain verification. If your site shows a certificate error, wait a few minutes and try again.

Removing a domain

Go to the Domain tab and click Remove Domain. The DNS records become inactive but won't cause errors — clean them up at your registrar when convenient.
