Themes

Pagemark ships with three built-in themes. Change your theme in the dashboard under Site Settings → Theme.

Default

Clean, professional documentation theme. Good heading hierarchy, responsive sidebar, and readable typography. Supports light and dark mode via prefers-color-scheme.

Best for: Most documentation sites

Minimal

Whitespace-heavy, nearly monochrome. Serif headings, generous spacing, and a literary feel. Think of a clean blog or academic paper.

Best for: Personal docs, notes, writing-focused sites

Dark

Always-dark theme with vibrant accent colors. Deep black backgrounds, blue primary accents, and colorful syntax highlighting. Inspired by Vercel and GitHub's dark mode.

Best for: Developer tools, CLI docs, projects with a dark brand

Switching Themes

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Click on your site
  3. Open the Settings tab
  4. Select a theme from the dropdown
  5. Click Save Settings

Your site rebuilds automatically with the new theme.

Custom CSS

Custom themes are coming soon. For now, the built-in themes cover most use cases. If you need something specific, let us know.
